DEENA’s range of Anchor Windlass’s offer a wide range of types and sizes to match every application, be it standard merchant ship mooring, FPSO mooring or temporary drill rig mooring.
Anchor Windlass's are used to lift and lower a ships anchor. The chain wraps around the Gypsy (Wildcat) to engage the chain links. The Gypsy is fitted with a Band Brake capable of providing a breaking load equivalent to 45% of the chains breaking strength or higher.
Our Windlass’s are available up to a chain size of 52mm with Hydraulic or Electric drive and can be modified to each requirement depending upon application and available deck space. The clutch and brake can be operated manually and/or remotely.
Our Windlass’s are designed with the ideology of high reliability, easy maintenance and to survive harsh marine environment and can be certified through DNV, LR, ABS, BV, RINA and IRS.
