Our Smit Brackets are suitable for towing operations and can be provided in a towing system package or as a stand-along product.
Our Smit Brackets can be manufactured to Japanese International Standard (JIS) and Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) guidelines and can be certified through DNV, LR, ABS, BV, RINA and IRS.
The bracket works using a large sliding pin which receives the towing chain and locks it quickly and securely into place.
